Classic cars, especially the genuine type are not that easy to find. However, there are quite a number of auctions where one can find them. For instance, the Muscle Car auctions offer a variety of classic muscle cars. These include Corvettes, Mustangs, GTO as well as Camaros. At this auction, classic cars enthusiasts can get great looking classic cars which are in perfect shape and ready to take to the road.

Apart from that, there are also other classic car auctions such as the Barret Jackson collector car event. This event goes for a week allowing enthusiasts to view the variety of classic cars in the market and buy what they want from the collection. The first day is a Ford family value day and children under 12 years of age are granted free entry. His day also marks the opening of the Vendors, gates and sponsor display.

The second day opens up the Automobilia auction as well as the collector car auction. Designer fashion shows are also held on this day. This includes showcasing of garage kids, Dillard as well as Roxanne’s couture. This week long event runs through to Sunday and visitors are allowed to bid for the cars of their choice in the Automobilia auction as well as the collector car auction.

Automobilia, as organized by Barret Jackson features the showcase of authentic automobile. This event involves the showcasing of various vehicles and auto parts. Some of these include hood mascots, gas pumps, transportation toys as well as garage relics. These are some of the autos that are unique and bear incredible dealership signs. What is more, the vehicles showcased in this event are the ones that are usually hard to find. For this reason, they are normally sold to highest bidder at No Reserve.

Held at the Palm Beach, the event this year is intended to feature the Borg collection. Therefore all the Borg enthusiasts must not miss this. Apart from that, enthusiasts should note that before the Barret – Jackson Classic Car auction, the automobilia auction is held every day at the main auction stage. Interested visitors also needed to note that the bidder registration goes for 25 dollars.

Further still, the Muscle Car Auction also showcases a variety of classic cars. Some of these include the AMX, AMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Chevrolet, Buick, Ford and Mercury. Apart from that, they also showcase such classic cars as Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Plymouth as well as Diecast Muscle cars. All these vehicles are usually lined up for auction therefore anyone interested in one of these should visit the Muscle Car Auction.

The 2010 Barret Jackson auction also has a variety of classics lined up for auction. These include the Thunderbird which is a 1995 FORD two door COUPE. In addition to that, there is the Camaro IROC Z, a 1988 Chevrolet with a coupe as well as Super Eagle, a 1959 Cushman motor scooter. The Seville, a 1982 four door Sedan Cadillac will also be present not forgetting to mention the Electra 25, a 1969 four door hardtop BUICK.

Starting in 2004, the Busch series held a race in Mexico City at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez track. This year will be the third year that NASCAR has been south of the border. What would motivate them to pick up a venue like that?
In 2005, it was estimated that one seventh of the population in the United States is Hispanic. This is a demographic that just hasn’t been turned onto stock car racing in the past. Mexico City can change that. But there has definitely been some resistance from the teams.
In the first Mexico City race, the prize money was so little that most teams didn’t break even. It’s expensive for your whole team to travel and especially expensive to transport the racecars.
Truthfully, for the first race, most teams made the race only because of the owner points which were awarded. Since that first race, the purse has grown and teams are more likely to come out having made at least some money.
Another reason that teams are traveling to the race is for their sponsors. One of the main rationales that the Mexico City race is considered so important is because there are so many international sponsors.
Many of the team’s sponsors, such as Lowe’s and Red Bull, already have a strong presence in both Mexico and the United States. Racing in Mexico increases the sponsor’s exposure. Several team owners have said that they wouldn’t choose to race in Mexico because of the added expenses but do so for their sponsors.
There was quite a lot of complaining when the race was first announced. Besides the expense, people were concerned about the safety issues of being in Mexico.
Carl Edwards says he looks forward to the race now but he was nervous about being in Mexico the first time, especially when he had to visit the hospital due to a crash during a practice round. However, his short hospital stay was great and he considers this race an exciting trip now.
The idea behind having an international race is that not only will it be a tool to hook Hispanics in the U.S. on NASCAR but will also open up a whole new audience of race fans in Mexico. So they are building a larger fan base two at a time.
NASCAR is determined to branch out into all parts of the world and become the most popular sport. We think they are well on their way to doing just that.

Stock car racing fans are within a league of their own. Rumbling engines amid fierce rivalry between racing legends and young gunners is what gets them excited. This type always knows who the leaders are and where the next track competition is. They are wired to be in the midst of these thundering battles and will never lose that grip.

Are you within this description? Does your life get truly charged when the topic of racing crosses your mind? Do you share a camaraderie with others of the same spirit when race day draweth near?
